Spring 2008Q: When do you plan to replace the older treadmills and ellipticals?A: As soon as we are in a position to do so - hopefully Fall 2008. Our last fiscal year was very challenging due to direct and indirect factors associated with the opening of Servus Place in September 2006.Q: I love the fresh flowers in the Club - very classy! Who supplies them?A: Thank you! Yes, we get a lot of positive feedback on them - they are very creative! The flowers are supplied each week courtesy of Funky Petals flower shop on St. Thomas Street, St. Albert. Their telephone number is 458 3585Q: Is it possible to get a small pail to rinse the seats off in the Men's steam room?A: Absolutely! If this makes your steam experience, and that of other Club Members more enjoyable then consider it done!Q: Please provide a conversion table for the weigh scales in the locker rooms.A: The bar on the scales rotates to provide readings in both "lbs" and "kg".Q: Can you please provide newer magazines?A: We currently subscribe to six magazines: Macleans (weekly), Shape, Men's Health, Runners World, Chatelaine, and People (weekly). All other magazines are donated / recycled by Club Members and may be less current.Q: Your Group Exercise Instructors are awesome! Linda Marocco - WOW! Excellent job!A: Thank you! We will pass on your kudos to Linda and Kathy Giesbrecht, our Group Exercise Coordinator.Q: Have you considered switching to automatic flush urinals and toilets to save water?A: Excellent suggestion! We are currently sourcing new urinals for the Men's locker room and plan to have them installed by the end of May 2008. |
