I have always been greatly impressed by the Club, in particular the child care facility (Playcare) who's personnel (notably Manon) have been outstanding in all respects. “ .. Just wanted to voice a compliment for the Club facilities and personnel. I have been traveling for work … and trying to keep a fitness schedule can be tough .. I have found a variety of facilities in Calgary , Banff , Edmonton , Penticton , Red Deer , Regina , Vancouver and Victoria . I have to say that SVAC has THE BEST facility and staff, bar none. The YMCA in Downtown Victoria , the Westin Hotel in downtown Calgary and the Sally Borden facility in Banff tie for second place. All are great, but each is missing something we have—room, staff, atmosphere, steam room … Keep up the good work. And pass on huge kudos and thanks to the staff—especially those who manage a friendly smile as they open the doors early in the morning. When it’s this good, there really is no place like home” .

"As you know, for renewing our gym Membership at SVAC, we received a very generous batch of gift certificates to try the various services and amenities the Club has to offer. Yesterday, I spent the gift certicate for a facial with Tamara Klein (while my daughters were having a blast in Playcare). I had no idea what a treat I was about to receive ! Previously it had never occurred to me to have a facial, and the gift certificate gave me the excuse to give it a try. I was so impressed, I bought a gift certificate to give to a friend, and I will certainly be indulging in more pampering with Tamara in the future. I want to Thank You Tamara, for making the experience a possibility. By the way, the gift certificates for renewing are very much appreciated, even if we don't take advantage of them all. I have to ask: Isn't it enough just to have such a great gym available ?"
